So it’s a new year and with it come new possibilities.

In the realm of metal, we have two singles in the upcoming week and a half (Elvenking on the 10th, Hans & Valter on the 15th), two albums set for the spring (Elvenking album for April 11th, Moonlight Haze set for springtime 2025, according to an Instagram post), and several tours, as well as material in the works from several bands.

But what does it mean for me?

Potentially some new writing, hopefully a new job, maybe a new academic pursuit. Hopefully actually getting some metal written and into the demo or full recording stage.

I don’t really know what this year is gonna bring me. It’s been a weird few months, but I’m hoping it’ll work out.
